Taos Center for the Arts (TCA) Campus Redesign

TCA received $50,000 from T-Mobile to revitalize Stables/Carriage House Gallery Courtyard, in collaboration with Taos MainStreet and New Mexico MainStreet (Amy Bell, Revitalization Specialist in Landscape Architecture and Urban Design and Groundwork Studio of Albuquerque). This revitalization includes regrading the courtyard to direct water drainage away from the adobe Gallery into a dry riverbed feature, creating a new amphitheater to provide seating for small performances and day-to-day use, adding a new stage area in front of the amphitheater, creating an ADA-accessible walkway to allow access to the area, and landscaping. This will be a new community space linking the vital Stables Gallery with outside areas for public gathering and performances; most importantly, it will be accessible and open to everyone.
